Is listing my business really free?
Yes. Listing on PITHE's directory is free right now — no credit card, no invoice later, no auto-billing. We're building the directory and we want as many local businesses on it as possible, so the listing itself costs nothing.
You'll add paid plans later — will you start charging me or remove my listing?
No. Any listing created for free during our launch stays free — permanently. When we introduce an optional Comprehensive Listing tier, it will be an upgrade with extra features, not a bill for what you already have. We will never remove your free listing or force you onto a paid plan. Listing now locks in your free-forever status.
What's the catch — why is it free?
There's no catch. A new directory needs businesses on it before it's useful to customers, so we offer free listings to build that up. Later we'll offer optional paid upgrades like featured placement and analytics. The free listing stays free. We say this plainly because that honesty is the whole point — it's what separates us from the "free directory" scams small businesses have learned to distrust.
